What I have learned in Korea

                Karaoke is one of the most popular entertainment places where Korean people use. Nowadays because of the increase of the number of Korean immigrants, it became popular around the countries as well. Karaoke is the place where all the sound stereo system is set up for the people to sing a song. The karaoke system is updated every month so that the people can enjoy singing the recent pop songs. As today’s technology has been developed, today’s karaoke has also been changed better such that there is a stage, a screen with the lyrics on, a camera filming the people are singing and put it on the screen, etc. The karaoke industry would be more developed and so the people’s attention and affection are necessary for a better growth. However there is also a contrariety that those karaoke have been degraded to a pub place for the adults to get sexual pleasures. Nowadays because of the lack of a police officers’ crackdown, many minors tend to use these facilities as well. The high-ranking officials in a society need to realize how serious this situation is and to be concerned of the healthy development of the karaoke industry. I have used to go to a karaoke since I was young and I hope that this karaoke gets more love and attention consistently from people so that the people can come and relieve their stress.

The people I have met in Korea

                On this week four students from Seoul University visited Hubo lab. They are studying simulation at the school. They will stay in Hubo lab for three weeks and learn about the basic knowledge of Hubo. Two of them are same age with me and the other two students are three and four years older than me. I hope that we get close to each other for next three weeks while learning Hubo together.

What new thing did you learn about yourself?

                As I mentioned in the preceding post, I think that building a valuable and precious friendship in the youth age is imperative for the adulthood. My friends who inspired me how valuable a friendship is are Seung-Min Oh and Byeng-Jin Kim. They are my friends who shared our strenuous and joyful events and live together when I was going to the college in America. They are so precious to me as if I would not be here existed like now if they were not there with me. On this past weekend Seung-Min Oh who is in a Korean military was on vacation therefore we planned to meet together. We went to a trip for 2 nights and 3days to several cities: Incheon, Seoul, and Cheongju. On the trip we shared our good old days and reminded how important and precious friends are. I have no doubt of that this trip made us more close to each other and promote our friendship.
