I recently completed the initial stages of building a Freashwater Planted Fish Tank for my girlfriend’s apartment. It is a 30 gallon Hexagon black clay base with red/tan gravel. The center is 15lb piece of Malaysian red driftwood that takes on a dark brown when fully saturated. I currently have two Cryptocoryne wendtii plants and one micro sword plant (More to come). I also have 9 red eye Tetras, one skunk Cordy catfish, and 1 Pleco. In the future I would like to install Auto Top Off (ATO) and a CO2 injection system. Here is a few pictures of the build!
