- Overview
The Zagi UAV project took significantly longer then expected due to many little problems. The main problem lied in the GPS acquisition. The MNAV acquired GPS signal inconsistently. It lost almost every time due to assorted problems including weak antenna's, wireless interference, bad MMCX connectors.

- GPS Data Results
- The flight depicted here was completed on Wednesday, July, 26, 2006. The Zagi was hand launched at the ‘start’ location. GPS Data was collected once the Zagi was stabilized in the air. Due to high wind gust (~ 10 mph) the Zagi was able to complete sharp turns due to its high lift design. Data points were collected on average of 5 data points per second but data points were dropped if the uNav IMU data exceeded its threshold value of either 150 deg/sec turns and/or 2Gs in acceleration. Data points may also have been lost during wireless transmission. After landing, the Zagi is picked up and carried back to the base station that collected this data i.e. the ‘end’ location.
